We get 45 to 60, wish it was more, but 2 working adults and a kid in high school. We do take a 3 to 4 week summer trip though.

We get in anywhere from 10-15 trips a year ranging in length of a weekend or extended weekend to a full week here or there. So probably around 30 nights. For now. I'm hoping for to greatly increase that in the future.

We get around 30 or so nights a year. Most of the trips are to the many lakes around here for fishing.

Both still working full time for another eight years. Average has been 45 nights per year. Our goal is every other weekend between Easter and Thanksgiving along with two weeks out sometime during the summer.

About 40 nights a year, would rather do 55-60.

TT owner here. We've been able to go Thursday to Sunday roughly twice a month for 9 months a year, plus one longer vacation.

Total of 265 nights in 5 seasons. Mostly 50-ish nights a year, last year it was 60.

Planning our next RV so we can do multi-month trips once we retire.

Best regards,
Chris

Maybe a couple dozen. We drive versus camp. It’s not that we don’t enjoy camping... there’s just not enough time (excuse). We spend about 50 or more evenings sitting under the awning in the S&B driveway. Work is fun and home is cozy - traveling is for enjoyment with disposable income. We consider our situation to be perfect for us and we are grateful.

One thing that will likely make a difference is where you live, and if you have anywhere nearby that you would like to go for a weekend. This is part of our problem, there are few places that interest us to go to on RV trips within 150 miles, even at the 400 mile range finding places to go is a challenge. Around here if you don't want to camp out by a bass fishing lake there are not many other options.

Still working and have kids. As a school teacher, family does an 8 week trip each summer (56 nights). In addition, we will do about 6 weekend trips throughout the rest of the year.

Good point about where you live. We believe we are in one of the better places in the country for camping. Beach and mountains both doable on a 3 day weekend.

Great point! I might add that the reservation system has taken its toll on me. We don’t ever know where we want to go or what the weather is going to do 6 months out. Seems like there is someone with a computer and a cc for every campground site the moment they become available. Then they cancel or don’t show, either way the campground staff leaves the full sign up just to have less campers to deal with.

I personally have not found the reservation issue all that bad, we will be traveling on our way home on Memorial Day weekend, and I was able to make overnight reservations at a somewhat popular Texas State park for Sunday on Memorial Day weekend, less than 3 weeks out. At the time I made my reservations they were down to 4 out of about 100 sites available, I had checked the week before and at about 4 weeks out the available site count was around 20.

Another site under consideration for our overnight stop on memorial day was a COE park, which at 4 weeks out was nearly vacant, we opted against the COE park as recent online reviews noted considerable renovation and construction work going on, with heavy equipment running all day (doubtful this would be an issue on the Holiday weekend though)
