That FED is sweet looking!

Got my first taste of the true nostalgia classes at the 2013 New England Hot Rod Reunion.

Was a blast!

I regularly pull a stock 2001 Toyota Prius behind my Class A motorhome.

My mechanic says that I must "race" it on the freeways and highways, based on the tires I go through.

I ran both the 2013 and 2014 New England HRR. I was runner up in the 2014, In the finial we both broke out of our index, I was just a little faster than he was. As we both were running a 8.000 index the one closest won which was Dave.

The picture below is of the finals at the 2014 HRR Dave is in Sleigh Ride and I am on the far side.

We are both members of NDRL which is a great and very completive series.

I do not have any pictures yet of the rig and trailer but i do have a few of the car. I bought my rig, new to me a few weeks ago but the temps have been in the teens ever since, so i just think about working on it.

Ha! Nope, headed to Sebring this weekend for PCA DE, then (weather permitting) to a Chin event at VIR on the way home. Very pleased to be here in Florida with mere 30 degree nights instead of the -25 wind chill they have at home.

Finally took a pic of MH and racecar.
I race in the So-Cal region of NASA (National Auto Sports Assoc) not the rocket guys.
Car is a 1987 BMW 325is that races in a spec class called Spec E30.
Trailer is a Carson 20' open with tire rack. I have a 22" enclosed LOOK trailer but usually tow with open due to weight constraints.
Pic taken at Willow Springs International Raceway last weekend. WSIR is the oldest purpose built road race course in USA (1953). At least according to their sign.
Took 2 wins last weekend to get the season started. Both were hard fought and went down to the last lap.

I have to move! I'm still under two feet of snow and the temp will be 7 tonight. I did go over and start the generator in the trailer and ran a cord to the MH to charge the batteries.
