First year in Georgia - a bit over $10,000. Yes, digits and comma are correct. We get killed the first year to get our plate. It goes down in subsequent years, but have not received the renewal bill yet.

Y'all have nothing to complain about in other states. AZ charges a registration/license fee based on base MSRP {doesn't matter what you paid or what options you order). It repeats every year with a 16% depreciation factor. My 2020 Newmar Ventana cost $9,439 for the first year. Plus sales tax, of course.

Everyone believed it would be used for the roads, as it was designed, but last month the Governor signed an executive order stealing the fuel tax money for the fail trained that goes from nowhere to nowhere.

Nothing but lies to fund illegal alien medical care. Not a political statement.....fact, admitted to by the Governor.
Prolly time to move out of Cal. There’s a lot of people moving up here to Oregon. There’s getting to be too many people here. Those people are doing their best to turn Oregon into Cal. Like many cities in California, we have a homeless problem that is spreading like a disease. Oregon bleeding hearts aren’t doing anything to stop it either. We have passed laws to deal with it, but they aren’t being enforced. I’m sure our taxes will be going up close to California’s soon. Time to move out!
Oregon also promotes illegal immigration and is proud to be a sanctuary state like California as well.

$223. For 2004 Fleetwood here CA. Governor Moonbeam up the price a few years ago to fix the road here. Still waiting for that to happen. I think they have signs up that state
“Bumpy Road Ahead” as you cross CA State line.

We feel your pain - just shy of $1,500 for us. What a ripoff. They base it on MSRP not even what you paid for the vehicle and after 3 years of depreciation that rate is locked for the remainder of the time you have the vehicle. Worst money one could ever spend, especially when you consider the motor home is only driven about 5 to 6 months per year.

Last year went over the road from hell and then a sign about "Uneven Pavement" that was a joy compared to what the previous eight miles were. They fixed the uneven part and left the road from hell alone.

Just renewed my tag in Marshall Co MS. 2005 Newmar Kountry Star gas. $69. Paid sales tax at original registration after purchase. I will actually be able to deduct part of this as it is considered a tax.

$175.00 in Longview, WA for yearly tags. We first registered at the daughters address in Pierce country, WA and they wanted $4400.00 a year for tags. Do not live in King, Pierce, or Snohomish counties because they are crooked counties.

New law in Montana

This was the 2nd year for new surcharge for tags in Montana. If coaches MSRP when new is 300,000 or more (I believe that is the correct amount.) $800.00 luxury tax every year, making tag cost approximately $1000.00 per year

Just paid for 2020 GA tag for 2018 Aspire. $20 for tag and $100 for Highway impact fee. I’m not complaining.
