How to find the right headlight dimmer switch

My Spartan Chassis lost it's high beam/low beam switch capability.

I think I can replace it myself if I find the right part.

Any advice on how to go about that sure would be appreciated.

I am not sure if I should pull the old one out in hopes it has a part number or try to find it some other way. A quick look at the Newmar site didn't lead me into that level of detail.

Obviously, the switch was not made just for Newmar and I am sure is on lots of vehicles heck maybe even light trucks or cars???????

Thanks!

You could ask Spartan Motor Home Support for a part number and begin your search from there.

Have your chassis serial number handy.
