HR ceiling lights

The ceiling lights on my 2003 HR Neptune motorhome have one by one quit except first light in the front, but gradually over time. Changing the bulbs didn't fix the problem so assuming are the ballast in each. Going to replace with led bulbs and cut the wires accordingly. Question, are these all in series, and is there anything that need to know first?

Replaced my ceiling lights on a 2005 HR Scepter and followed the wiring directions in the package. Very easy and made a huge difference.

Get a test meter and read the voltage at each light and see if there is voltage present when you think the light should be on.

I have ~5 lights in the front that are daisy chained and three in the the rear. The rear is controlled by one switch. The front is controlled by two switches.
