HWH 210 level control question.

I have a 1998 Holiday Rambler Endeavor 34'. My hydraulic leveling system was working fine, I used them to level MH in driveway to get ready for first trip this year. Retracted them, got to our campsite and 1 of the jacks would not go down at all. I believe the leveling system is HWH 210 series.

The following link on page 17 shows my controller.

www.hwhcorp.com/ml11428-55hm.pdf

I pulled all the plungers out of the control manifold, which are labeled as 14 & 15 on page 17. What I found puzzles me, as the 4 pressure plungers were all identical with springs inside to push the plunger up. But the 4 return plungers, 1 plunger has a small ball bearing located at the bottom below the plunger.

All the plungers have a concave end on them as if there should be the ball bearing at the bottom. I can not find any exploded diagrams of the inside of the control manifold only what I found in the link above.

Does anyone have experience with this controller and the way it operates and the internal parts of this controller. I would like to know what it should be before I go any further. I did call HWH for tech support and was told they are really backup and might be 2 weeks before I receive call back. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Thanks , Dave

You can contact Paul (AZPETE) at pfmaddox@att.net or call him at 602-549-3638. He is an employee of HWH (mobile field tech with more than 20 years at HWH) and has posted that his phone is always on, and if not answered, leave a message. His help is FREE.

He has helped others (including me) on this forum and I am sure he can help you.

Let me know if you get a response from Paul and how you did it. I had a problem couple of weeks ago, left him a voice mail and couple of days later sent a detailed email of problem. Glad I got them up myself or I would still be stuck in that campground. Was nice in messaging so have no idea why I never received a reply.

Does the pump run when you move the joystick to that position? I had a 2000 HR Endeavor. When you push to any position it should trigger the switch to start the pump. I had one that got wet and the switch failed. What we did was I pushed the joystick to that position and had my son jump the pump so it ran. The jack went down so we knew it was a switching problem. Took apart and cleaned the contacts. After that I occasionally had to fiddle with it to get it to switch on.
