HWH Jack Hose / Fitting Leaking
Hi all,
We're about to head out for 2 months and just noticed this drip on the passenger rear jack. I thought I've seen some residue on the jack, but this is the first time visually seeing fluid. I'm not familiar with hydraulic lines, and the posts I read on here seemed to indicate they were either o-ring or compression and if compression, don't want to overtighten, etc. I also know there is a lot of pressure behind these things too, and a little gun shy jumping into removing anything.
The issue seems to be the 90 elbow would have to be disconnected from the hose in order to turn into the nut on the jack if I'm looking at it correctly. And if I did remove the hose, how much fluid loss are we talking, and would it make a difference and stop the leak.
There is another hose on the back of it, but it seems to be fine. I haven't tried to use the jacks yet, but I'm guessing it's a slow leak.
