HWH Leveling Jacks

Has anyone replaced their HWH jacks recently? I just got 2 in the last few weeks 9000 lb for the front of my motorhome and they make a terribly loud noise (like a tuba) when lifting the vehicle. I was told they are using different seals, not sure if it is only on new jacks or also on rebuilt ones. I had 3 jacks rebuilt a couple months ago and they are quiet.

They sould not make any noise. Just replaced the rear two and they are very quiet. Sounds like something binding a bit, maybe a seal out of alignment.

You probably have air in the system and purging should take care of the noise problem. Find a level place and fully extend the jacks and retract them several times to purge any air from the system. Good luck and keep us posted.
