HWH Support and Customer Response is TERRIBLE!

I have been waiting over a month now with little to no response from HWH to my service company nor to me directly. Has anyone been able to find a way or person that will respond with simple answers to logical questions.

1. How long will it take to get new jack parts? They say they are behind 80 orders and have no idea when they will be able to ship.

2. If I removed my front jacks that need new seals...how long will it take to repair my jacks. "Cannot give any estimate for service"!!!

Wrote to one of the support folks and they will not respond.

Does anyone know if HWH is replaceable by any other company that is more responsive?

There is a gentleman on the forum here named Paul Maddox - he works for HWH. He's super responsive and very, very helpful. His username on this forum is "azpete". His email is pfmaddox@att.net. Reach out to him, perhaps he can be of some assistance. Good luck!

HWH is normally real good, but because of the "pandemic" every company flushed customer service down the toilet, cant get humans on the phone or reply to emails.

That being said a local hydraulic shop can do most repairs on the jacks, HWH isnt necessary to get them fixed on most issues.

Find a hydraulic shop in your town. Most of them can do the repairs faster and better.

I have a friend who ordered a replacement jack in June 2021 and finally received it in May 2022. Their production was that far behind.

Several on this forum, including me, have had a jack cylinder rebuilt by a local hydraulic shop. Mine was rebuilt this past April here in FL and has worked just fine since. The hydraulic shop I used was able to get the correct seals the next day locally. Nothing proprietary about the seals. Other parts could be a different story.

My first RV had the HWH system. When I ordered a rplacement jack, it took over 3 months to get. This was way before Covid, supply chain issues, back when people actually worked for a living. I soon learned that my local hydraulic shop could install all new seals for a fraction of the cost of a new jack.
If you are handy enough to remove and install a jack, do yourself a favor and get it repaired locally. Its a lot less frustration that way.

Thank you all very much for the guidance. I have a hydraulic guy I found in the Grand Prairie area that says he can do it. Just have to line up an appointment now.

I'll let you know how long I wait. I called yesterday to get a RGA authorization to send in my air leveling control box. They took my name and number and now I wait for them to call.

Perhaps they too are suffering from worker shortage, as are most companies today.

Depends on how you look at it. Your vehicle is 17 years old, very few companies provide support for a product that old. Mine is a 1993 and HWH fixed a botched repair that had been done before I got my MH. It took awhile but it works as well as new 3 years later, and that system has been out of production for years.

Even if you have to get in line and wait it will probably be a lot faster and a lot less hassle than junkyard searches and botched repairs. You can still use the motor home without the jack if you plug the lines. It's not as convenient as pushing buttons but better than sitting home.

sorry, but my phone, 602 549 3638 has been on this forum for years. no excuse for not calling me. let me help you.
i have worked full time for hwh corp for 22 years, and have been in the rv service business since 1967.
i can answer most questions, but, if i cant, i will find an answer. i do call back asap.
i can not produce parts. when i order parts, i get in line just like owners do. and yes, it sometimes takes 6 to 8 months or even more to get certain parts.
hwh is suffering from worker shortage. we are running behind on everything, especially phone calls. every call takes time. there is no information that is not found in the service manual… if you cont have one, i can email you one.
also, many owners have now determined to fix their own coaches, without even a service manual. it just doesnt work very well.
there is no magic fuse, or reset button that is going to fix a burned out solenoid, or bad control box. you must do a diagnosis to determine why the fuse blew, or the solenoid burned out.
if you do not fix the root cause, you will continue to have the same problem.
please feel free to call me. let me help you.
if i dont answer, please leave a number and a message. i do not return calls to blocked numbers, or hangups.

Their support has been very good to me. I'm in a near 20 year old coach so age is not the issue. They were slower getting back to me on my last inquiry but I chalk that up to covid and how it's been handled in the entire country.
