HWH temporarily stopped working
Last night needed to pull my slides in due to a tornado warning in my area (SW Alabama) and both the hydraulic slides failed to move. Did some quick trouble shooting in the rain and determined that the HWH motor was not running. I had power to the HWH system as indicated by the small red lights on the top were on and the solenoids were clicking.
This morning continued the trouble shooting and confirmed that the HWH motor was not running for either the slides nor for extending the jacks. Slid the HWH unit out of the bay on its rails for a visual inspection and then first the jacks started working and after a few minutes the slides started to work.
I assume I'm dealing with a loose connector or wire but have no idea which one. I'm thinking of having a mobile RV repair work with me to disconnect the quick disconnects in the HWH bay, inspect them and blow them out with air.
Does this sound like a reasonable plan for next steps? Any other suggestions? I'd hate to have this happen while we're traveling to the Pacific NW and then to the east coast later this year.
FYI - We've been in this location for 7 weeks and will be here until March 1. Also planning to do weekly tests of system until we leave. We're full time and typically move at least once a week except for 3 months in the winter.

What you are describing is classic master solenoid failure. Here's a troubleshooting document that may help. The other possibility is a faulty ground connection.

Lt. Dan - Thanks for the info / suggestion. I will order a master solenoid and swap it out as a preventative measure. The ground connections seemed good but I'll double check them as well.

Lake View Electronics has them for $18, plus shipping. I've used them before They sell brand name stuff, fast servic, and a good price.

If you run into the situation again where the slides aren't working, you can jump the hot terminal to the solenoid terminal, just for a few seconds. (It gets the pump going. ) Then operate the slide like normal. We are told Tiffin Service recommended this.

Will the HWH leveling system lower the jacks? If they work, it is not the master solenoid, but rather the slave solenoid for the slide cylinders.
HWH uses 3 solenoids, the master is on top of the motor, there are 2 slave solenoids on the side of the motor, 1 powers the leveling system, the other powers the slide system. either slave solenoid will supply power to the master solenoid, which of course makes the motor run.
Always take a picture of the OEM wiring before removing anything.
Which model do you have?
This will properly identify which one you have.

Already ordered via Amazon - but I'll keep Lake View Electronics in mind should I ever need something like this again.
Also - good to know that I can jump the posts if this ever happens again. Thanks for the info.

Thanks for the contact info for Paul. I don't think I need to reach out to him at this point - but will keep him in mind if I run into issues.

The HWH system would not extend the jacks - so I think Lt. Dan's info was on point. Also my documentation says I have 725 SERIES LEVELING SYSTEM
which shows only 2 relays / solenoids - one master and one pump. This exactly matches what my system looks like.
Also, thanks for the reminder to take a picture of the wiring before I start. I'll also remember to disconnect the power before I start removing any of the wires to replace the solenoid.

Thanks for the ID. I now see exactly what you described. This website sells HWH parts JIC you need an item. https://www.camperid.com/hwh/725-ser...leid=399092155

When mine stopped working I gave it a tap with a hammer and got it working again. I was told when one solenoid goes bad the other was not far behind so I replaced both
