Hydraulic issue

I have a 2010 Thor Mandalay 40G diesel pusher. I have recently replaced the communication cable (telephone line) for my inverter control unit. It displayed "no Communication". After a successful installation I discovered that my leveling system and my slide outs where not working. I only hear the relay switch clicking. It appears that there is not enough battery power but the batteries are fully charged and the unit is plugged into 50A power. I have no idea what could be the problem. It appears that the system just isn't getting enough voltage. Confused!

I had a similar issue. Read this thread I started and there's a photo towards the end of the thread Hopefully you have the same problem and if so, it's an easy fix. The part shipped is $50.00

Thanks for the reply but the solenoids appear to be intact. I cannot imagine that there is a relationship between the Inverter control and the fact that the slides as well as the leveling system stopped working at the same time. The slides and the leveling system both worked before I got into replacing the communication cable.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined us!

Are you sure that the polarity is correct on the telephone-type cable that you installed? Some installations require the connections to be straight through, and others the plugs are reversed on each end. If you still have the old cable you can look at the two connectors and see how they are wired.

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Thanks for the advise. I tried the old cable with no success. I also tried a shorter cable connected within 12" of the Inverter, but it had no effect on the results.
