Hydrohot radiator cap

I need to replace cap on my hhe 500 hydrohot.
Cap # plx-102-229. Does anybody have a cross reference number.

It appears to be just a regular old radiator cap that you can get at the auto parts store. 13lb.

I never really liked lever caps for my vehicles but it can release some tension to aid in removing it by about half by my guess. The cap neck into tank has been known to leak due to minimal amount of sloder. The less I have to manhandle it the better.

Forgot to mention if you see leak up top ,the non- reinforced hose they use is prone to split at first foot. I used fuel/coolant hose to a hose barb union ...then cheap hose last foot or so, to tank because my tank has plastic hose barb.But... AH is harder on caps than a vehicle IMHO so get a cap and a spare.

13lb none lever cap is what to use.
