I don’t know which model Samsung fridge you have, but Samsung is notorious for poor ice makers. I have one of their higher end models in my home and the ice maker has been problematic since day one. A key problem is it’s design. In summary, it fills the tray with water from the top and the water nozzle is too close to the tray. The water freezes and locks the tray in place so when it attempts to dump the ice, it cannot. So it sprays more water on the stuck ice tray essentially cementing the tray in place when that water freezes. We use to have to get a hair dryer out trying to thaw it out to hopefully be used. We have since given up on it and just buy bags of ice. So my question to you is if ice is actually being frozen and just cannot sump it into the bin?
