The Camelot comes with a three jack system, one leveling jack in the front and two in the rear. Monaco has ALWAYS said that the front jack MUST be lowered first and then the rear two. The Camelot has an automatic system that does exactly that. Just keep in mind, if you ever lower the coach manually, that front jack must touch the ground first. All of this is to prevent the windshield from cracking or being displaced. Just follow the procedure.
There is a smart guy on the Monaco Forum of IRV2 who developed a front and rear end stabilizing system for the RR8R Roadmaster chassis. This particular chassis has a large floating "H" designed suspension front and rear. The bars designed by this gentleman makes the coach track like it's on a rail. Again, do the rear and then the front when you can afford to.
Lastly, Monaco and especially the Camelot was a REALLY well built coach. You won't go wrong with your choice.

Thank you for the very informative post. I was able to speak to the owner today. He did tell me that the repair was done to the front of the coach to correct the windshield issues, to the tune of nearly 13k, and will provide receipts upon purchase.
I am unfortunately unable to complete the sale at this time due to the Corona virus stay at home issues. I hope to pick it up when this starts to ease a bit.
I will remember to use the automatic function when using the jacks and will look into replacing the shocks if need be.

Only the 06-07 Camelot had the windshield cracking problem because the cap moved to much and the easiest way to tell which ones is by the picture I posted above. By 08 the front cap is different and the windshield has rounded corners.

You may want to wait a while. The economy is going to take a hit and the price on non essential items like RVs will be dropping a lot. Especially one this old. In a month or two you will be able to buy a newer RV for what you are paying for this one. Look back at what happened in 2008. Smart move would be to wait. Good luck

That or the changing dynamics of a population looking to get away from the high density markets of this country would change the perceptions of RV ownership inversely driving a demand for affordable units for a entirely new demographic of ownership.

Some more items you can check. Put the slides out and go outside and check the underside for water damage. Even if it has damage it is fixable using Guardian Plates.
Also check the slide out covers. The threads tend to unravel. This also is fixable by installing new covers from Stone Voss.
Check all tire DATES, not tread remaining. Most will agree that at 7 years they should be replaced.
Check all the battery dates. Most batteries will require replacing after 5 years.
Check the roof. Walk it and inspect it very close.
Check the AC units (42' coaches will have 3). Some have heat pumps. If it has heat pumps check both hot and cold air.
If is has an absorption refrigerator check it closely on both electric and propane. Check for any ammonia smell. These types of refrigerators been know to start fires.
If the TV's and audio have not already been updated plan on updating them.
I see this is a 36' coach. When you drive the coach check for pulling or wandering. It's mostly the short diesel coaches that handle badly. You have a very heavy engine and transmission hanging behind the rear axle and the tail tends to push the front end around. This is not cured with new shocks or even a safety steer. (New shocks may soften the jolt over bridge abutments, but not wandering). The Monaco Watts system from Mike Hughes will help but you also need to check all suspension bushings, both front and rear. Sometimes the cure is as simple as folding down the arm rests and relaxing your arms.
Your brother can help you check the engine and transmission. I would recommend pulling fluid samples and sending them in.
The Camelot is a great coach and probably built better than most new coaches available today.

I will check everything you've mentioned. I really can't wait to get out and test drive it. The last pusher I drove was my fathers Hawkins Motor Coach he had built back in 1996 I believe. I'm sure much has changed since then.

Yes, maybe one of the most important things.
She was looking at some of the pictures last night and remarked at what great things she could do with it. I asked what she'd like to change and the first thing she said was "I'd like to have cabinets stained a darker color color, can we do that?" I just replied Uh, no.
She'd also like a gas cooktop with oven that seems harder and harder to get. But, would be a lot easier to do than having the cabinets re-stained.
