In-dash radio issue

My coach battery died the other day and when I
got it running again my in-house radio had this scrambled message (image). I don't see anything in the manual. Any ideas on how to trouble shoot this?Click image for larger version

Try shutting the Radio down and then switching it over to the Chassis battery and then turning it back on. If it clears then there is a problem with the Coach battery connection or the batteries themselves.

Radio

I would probably try removing the fuse for the radio and reinserting after a minute or so

As Elmer Fudd used to say "I would be afwaid, vewy afwaid". This is normally an indication of failed/faulty display or display drivers. A reset or reboot may clear it up so I will say good luck.

In case you're not aware of it, if you look in between the #5 selection button and the lower right button called the "Band" button, you'll see hole with the word "enter" there. If I'm not mistaken, that is where you'd stick the end of a paper clip to "reset" the radio. I think that's where it is on mine. I'd have to go check to make sure. Good luck.

I have the same radio, different problems. Battery disconnect switch kills power to radio. I put a cd and the cd player, it worked for a while, now radio works, cd will not work or eject. Some of the radio functions work. Thinking about replacing but with radio and clock working I will wait.

Mine did the same, had to dismantle it to get the CD out......replaced it with a double din pioneer, with Bluetooth and usb ports, for about 1/3 of the price of a direct replacement

Someone changed the language to Fliberish. Now all you have to do is get them to change it back.

Where the fuse would be depends on who installed the radio in the dash I'm afraid.

But some comments on the CD will not work or eject issue....

Very common with slot (Front feed) radios used in Cars Trucks and RV's.. Happened to my daughter in her car, Happens often to me here in my Class A (Pioneer radio) Happens 100% if I use CD's with peal and stick labels (CD-STOMPER type labels) 100%, major pain in the operating system.

On my Radio the faceplate can be removed, I can then use a SMALL pair of needle or duck bill pliars (I use needle nose) or even a pair of tweezers and grip the CD and pull it out.. Then restore the face plate.. Hit the EJECT button, put in another CD and enjoy the music.

I ended up duplicating all my CD-Stomper CD's to plain unlabeled ones and writing on 'em with a Sharpie. (NOTE the CD-Stomper are recordings I made.... My daughter is a classical musician.. Very good I recorded her with permission and have permission to make copies) But I have not re-installed the software since my last computer upgrade..

But even those sometimes jam.. Alas. There is no easy solution.
