Installing a Car Seat...Seat.

I am not currently an RV owner nor have I ever been, but I'm considering it pretty seriously. I am wondering if it would be possible to very securely mount a seat behind and between the drivers/passenger seat in which I would install a child carseat. I want my little one to be safe, secure, and comfortable and I want them to be able to see out the windshield so as to enjoy the journey and not get car sick. Is this possible? I don't know what is under the floor at that point in most RVs, or what access would be like. If it's not possible what other suggestions might you have? Thanks for your help?

I'd think most regular children's car seats would be too low to give a view over the dashboard. The floor is often particle board or oriented strand board, the driver and passenger seats are usually through bolted to steel underneath. Securing a child's seat between the front seats would be difficult and also be in the way of the exit in front door Class A diesel pushers. In a front engine RV the center position is the 'dog house' or engine cover over the rear of the engine. Again, not a real secure place to mount a child's safety seat.

When I was at the local RV show here in Calgary I did see a class c with a tether hook for a child's car seat.
It was located on the floor behind the dinette table seat and secured into the stairwell.
