Instrument cluster issue
I have a 1997 Southwind 32V on the Chevy P30 chassis. I was going to fuel it up and was driving to the station when all the instruments on the cluster quit working. No big deal at the time since my nav system gave me my speed and I knew everything was in good working order. It is only a 10 mile round trip anyway. When I parked it again and started trouble shooting it I ended up with a blank. The fuse panel has a fuse for the cluster and the fuse is good. Yet none of the gauges work. None. I was told there maybe another fuse somewhere as well but can not locate it. I have pulled the cluster and opened it up to make sure no fuses are on the circuit board and there are none. Since the sensors are the grounds it would seem it is a power issue. I have not put a volt meter to the output of the fuse to make sure it has power yet, that is the next step. Everything else in the coach is working, lights turn one, horn works, turn signals and all that goes through the fuse panel. An RV shop said it must be a ground wire, but I find no ground wires to check. I have all the manual that come with the coach but it has no wiring harness diagrams for the original chassis. Anyone got any ideas?
