Instruments Turned off while driving
2014 Fleetwood Discovery 40g, 21,250 miles
After driving 60 miles with headlights on and speed control on.
The Speed/Tach side instruments and all other analog instruments went to zero.
All color Lower panel warning lights came on. like as when the ignition is first turned on.
lasted only three seconds. Like a computer reboot.
Engine did not shut off and everything else was fine. Continued another 60 miles with not reocurrence.
I've talked to two Mechanics and all they said was may be a connection problem.
Not sure if it will be save to drive now. Cannot find any information online.
Any info would be helpful
Thanks

Is your coach on a Freightliner chassis .
Gauge and warning lights are part of the chassis wiring and Freightliner has issues with the dash wiring .

in my 2008 E-150 van had a similar issue all of the gauges would fall to zero the radio would die and the power windows would stop working. It wound up being bad connections on the instrument cluster. I fixed it myself but it was a nightmare of solder micro connections. There is you tube videos of people repairing them. If it happens again try rapping on the instrument panel to see if it comes back.

My 2014 Dutch Star on a Freightliner chassis did this a few times. I know there were a few other Freightliners that had this happen. One person sued Freightliner as it was happening regularly to him. Mine would suddenly do what you described and by the time you puckered up and looked around to see what was going on, it would go back to normal.
On my 2014 I went into the run bay, bay under driver's window, and there are two black boxes which contain engine and transmission relays. It was suggested to make sure those were seated well. They were not. I reseated all of them and then added foam to the lid so they couldn't back out again.
I also found a large wiring connector between the passenger side of the engine and the engine starting battery box. It's got one bolt holding two large wiring connectors together. The box is about 4" x 3" x 6". I tightened that bolt, which took a few turns.
I don't know if the above helped, but I never had the issue again.

I had the same problem. Driving along and instruments would zero out. I would pull over, turn off the engine, restart and everything was fine for a while until it would happen again. Eventually the instruments did not return after restarting. Light Bar Control Unit was replaced and the problem has never happened again.

Us, too
This has happened to us as well, in a 2004 Newmar 37' Mountain Aire on a Workhorse chassis (gas, W22). As OP said, the engine and driver functions seem unaffected - it's just the instrument panel. it comes back on in a second or two.
While concerning, it has not affected drive ability. It's happened intermittently, sometimes months between times. Knowing those intermittent and rare issues are almost impossible to find and remedy, we've just lived with it.
Based on other posters, I'll look for loose connectors and relays.
