Insurance recommendations for Texas

I have a 2005 Windsor and am looking for insurance suggestions offering the best coverage.

I just found out my current policy does not have glass coverage and I am not okay with that.

Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

After a year of National General thru GoodSam w/o glass coverage and $1000 deductible, we switched to Safeco. Cost went up a little, but we now have full glass coverage and $500.00 deductible as well as a few additional perks that National General didn’t have.

BTW - Good thing you qualified “Texas”, although your still going to get hammered with peoples opinions on whose better. What’s best is what’s right for you and your situation.

And FWIW - after paying $1600 out of pocket for a windshield (we figured the hit against us for a claim would exceed the $600 that would be paid under the claim - the break wasn’t due to a road hazard), and another $1500 to have some clearcoat repair fixed - the body shop that did our repairs warned against “The General” - he said they were most difficult to work with and get payment from. At least that was his experience. I’m not sure if “National General” and “The General” are the same company or not.

Your premium will vary greatly depending on several factors.
Location of RV.
Your age and driving record.
Your credit rating score.

So, where one person may be less, another could be higher in the same area and same vehicle. You will need to get a list of your needs and coverage and just start calling.
