Interesting Class A

Prevost may well be king as far as class A's go, but if I had the money to buy one of those, I'd seriously look at one of these.

I showed the wife and I guess we are going to do some more research on them. Absolutely gorgeous and might be our next unit!

It looks interesting, but has major drawbacks for me. It requires a very gradual ramp to drive into and out of the water. I can see how one could drive into the water, but might not be able to get out if the ramp was too steep. You could not use it on any lake that did not have easy access. I also think the novelty would wear off after a few trips to the lake. A nice motorhome and a luxurious 400 hp pontoon boat would offer better relaxing entertainment and flexibility for all.

Drop the price 900 grand, it'll sell.

The latest iteration has big pontoons for stability so storage is limited. Just not something I'd buy.

Dumbest idea ever in the history of RVing.

I was going to say that I don't think I would enjoy the water trip in that thing very much as it doesn't look all that stable. high center of gravity. A windy day and a rogue wave from some ski boat could really make your life miserable.

Here's another option:
Amphibious RV - Recreational Vehicles - RollerBoat

Or you could do this:

The coach was built in 2004 and only one was ever made. Cost was pretty high as compared to a comparable conventional rig. The company had financial problems later on so the idea pretty much died. The coach was on eBay without the wet gear several years ago. As I recall the reserve was very high and the bidding never reached it.

Some activities might not be best combined.

Not sure how old the listing is. No mention of amphibious capabilities also. http://www.fastrvsales.com/rv/2004-c...rra-wind/9h3q9

$495,000 for a 15 year old pile of junk. Hahahahahaha. Not a chance.
