Interesting view about dumping the bags
I was talking to an "old Timer" this afternoon, of course it was great.Conversation turned to old bodies and joint discomfort whne its cold and rainy
He said that when he stops at rest areas or any other place he will be shutting down and leaving the coach, that he dumps the air suspension to make that last step a bit lower to the ground which helps his knees.
I never thought of it before, anyone else do this?

I have always done this, my wife is short and it keeps her happy. Also I can clean my mirrors easier.

Haven't been at this very long, but yes I have done that pretty much every time, wife has short legs!

I've never done it myself but I think I remember reading the older Winnie Ultimate Advantage rigs used to have a "kneel down" feature which would do the same thing for the same purpose.

I always do it, gets the coach lower (which always looks better!) & the closer you get the leveler to the ground before extending, it's that much more adjustment you'll have available.

yep i always dump em if we are doing the leveling thing, but this guy was basically "kneeling" the rig when they stopped for food or the like
i think i will start doing it next trip
as my dw is vertically challenged

How do you dump the bags? The only way I know to do it is to press the leveling jacks button.

Some leveling systems on coaches with air allow dumping the bag air only without leveling. The button on my coach with HWH system is on the control panel for the levelers.

Yeap we do it just flip the switch. We have little ones so it let's them be independent. I agree with the it looks better comment.

Almost every stop even if NOT leveling. Just don't forget to make sure the front wheels are straight or the tires will be against the fenders. OUCH!

yes they do look good dropped 
mine has a lever to flip or leave in auto when i turn on the leveling panel
really going to have to start doing it more,

We both have Power Gear (same rig), and I don't think that it has a manual option.

My power gear levelors dump air when I activate them, but I always dump the air first, and then level manually.
Auto always puts the coach way to high.
I only dump the air when we are stopping for the night and I'm going to level.
Repeatedly stroking the brakes will dump the air but quick.
Plus it makes that cool sound
