Interior ceiling light

Interior ceiling light quit working and I thought that maybe ballast regulator was bad. Ordered new light and installed and it still does not work. Removed unit and hooked up test light and it indicated power coming in. Removed a working light and hooked it up and still does not work. Does anyone have any ideas why light will not work especially with power?

Interior ceiling lights

No, I have not checked polarity and wouldn't know where to begin. Will use one of my life lines and call a friend.

To reverse polarity just switch the 2 wire connections. If it's not that check the voltage at the 2 connections with the light turned on if it is 12 volts you likely have a defective light.

Did you use a digital meter to check the voltage? If there is a bad connection, it will show full voltage with no load, but as soon as a load is put on the circuit, there will be little or no voltage. Try checking the voltage with the light still hooked up.
Happy Glamping.

Thanks, I will try that. Just put MH in storage this AM. Will try and get back over there to check it ASAP.
