Angry Inverter?

Class A Gas Monaco 2006: Have no 120 V when plugged in.. Battery does not charge . Two 120 volt plugs work in the bedroom.
Put a charger on four batteries so I could keep RVING till I got home>
Where do I look to solve the problem?

Some inverters have built in circuit breakers mounted on them. Check your inverter and see if there is a circuit breaker button tripped.

I accidently hit the small ON/OFF toggle switch on my inverter, had the same symptoms but found my problem and quickly fixed.

Check all of your outlets for a tripped CGFI button. A GFCI covers all outlets on the same circuit.

50 or 30 amp? If 50 check main breakers.

Key words "Battery does not charge". Do you have a combined inverter/converter/charger?

120 present only on 2 outlets in bedroom would indicate ac loss from breaker panel to inverter-charger and maybe to other 120 outlets in Motorhome. If resetting all AC main breakers don't restore I would check for loose or broken wires in breaker panel first. If you have the skill I would also check for an open or bad circuit breaker in the panel. Sometimes they will check OK with a meter but fail under load. If no problem is found there use an outlet checker on all outlets in the Motorhome it could be a broken or loose wire somewhere else. Good Luck

Power to the microwave display or do the A/C's work?

If only the bedroom sockets have power they could be off an inverter for CPAP.

If you have a meter check the connections at the transfer switch.

Can not get the inverter to come on in our 2002 Monaco PKD. NO FLASHING LIGHTS IN THE PANEL. WHEN I PRESS INVERTER ON/OFF, NOTHING HAPPENS, BUT I CAN HEAR THE FAINT TICKING SOUND. CHECKED AND CAN HEAR THE INVERTER IN THE BASEMENT. First trip after CHANGED ALL HOUSE AND COACH BATTERIES. We have shore power, but uncertain impact to batteries. Thanks for any help.

Please start a new thread or things will get very confusing! It's hard to troubleshoot two systems at once as the answers get mixed up.
