inverter display question

I have a magnum display inside the rig that controls the charging/inverting.one of the functions on it is auto gen start.does someone else have this same unit that can inlighten me.i put it to test and nothing happened,i then left it on and let the batterys dwindle down over night with a couple lights etc.running and still nothing.what is this supposed to do?do i have a issue with it?

Doesn't your Magnum manual cover this? If you don't have the manual for the remote, perhaps this one covers yours

It is possible you have the remote but the AGS function is not installed in your coach. It is an optional feature. The button on the remote merely turns the AGS on/off - there are additional controls associated with AGS. Here is the manual for the AGS itself:

lets say its not set up to do that.What do you need in order to get the AGS to work the way it should.just seems like an invaluable feature...

This is an option and the panel has it on it whether the option is installed or not. Very rarely installed a few years ago. More common now. My panel has it and it was not installed.
