Is American Coach, American Eagle, and American Tradition the same company?
I'm looking for an older (2000-2007) quality-built Coach. I know American Coach fits this category.
Doing a search on RV Trader, I see a couple of models (manufacturers?) listed using the "American" name.
Is "American Eagle", "American Tradition", and American Dream" the same company (as American Coach)? Are these are just "models" offered by American Coach. However they are listed in the "Manufacturers" section and not the "Models" section of the search feature.
They may just be listed on RV Trader as separate manufactures by mistake.
If they are different companies, how do those MHs compare in build quality to American Coach?

Tradition, Dream, and Eagle are all models of American Coach. Heritage is also in that mix.

Yes, all are built by Fleetwood. I believe the American Coach Division was established in 1991. I own a 1995 Eagle and love it! Quality throughout! Customer service is outstanding. I had been thinking about purchasing a newer American Eagle but there is nothing wrong with the one I own.

Technically, they are built by Rev Group, not Fleetwood. Fleetwood is no longer the corporate name - it's just one of several brands owned by Rev Group. Other brands that Rev Group now owns and [sometimes] produces include American Coach, Monaco and Holiday Rambler. Back in the day, Fleetwood RV was the corporation name and did business under both the Fleetwood and American Coach names. That stopped after their bankruptcy and Rev Group reorganized it to produce those brands and others as well.
American Dream, Eagle, Tradition, Revolution, Allegiance and Patriot are under the American Coach brand family. The Fleetwood brand family includes Providence, Excursion, Pace Arrow, Southwind, Tioga, Jamboree, Bounder, Storm and probably some more I have overlooked. The brand websites will give current info, and the brochure archives on the sites are helpful on past models, though the archives are not 100% complete.
Just to make sure we stay confused, there was an Eagle brand bus-based RV many years ago that had nothing to do with American Coach, and there is still an American Bus Company that produces buses for various applications (but doesn't build RVs).

To point out, the OP is inquiring about 2000-2007 coaches. jDavid's post is correct for that time frame. So is the "Back in the day" part of Gary's post.
AC motorhomes have a timeless/classic design. I wouldn't hesitate to purchase one from that era.

Absolutely love our 06 tradition. Fantastic quality and a classy look. The "bones" of them are really solid and the cabinetry is unbelievable for a motorhome.
