On a decent coach it is definitely worth it. If it's an option then you are probably looking at a low enough price point to make it definitely not worth it.

On a few brands full body paint is standard, not as an option

Full body paint is nice but expensive. I have a 2008 Cameo fifth wheel and used (Shine On) to replace the clear coat a year and a half ago. Some of the gold stripes were fading, so I taped them off and spray painted them with a gold matching color, then bought new cameo decals off e-bay. All told I spent about $200 and it looks new again. Just another option.
