Is it the journey or the destination?

What's the most fun part of owning an RV? Is it the time spent on the road with all the wonders of our great country unfolding in front of us while we're in our Captains chairs or is it the time spent camping at our destination?

Just wondering.

Both for me too !

Love the travel and the 'surprise stops' along the way and seeing out the big picture window, and also love sitting back and looking out the big picture window when stopped...

HATE coming back

I love the road. The dear wife loves the destinations. Neither of us like staying in one spot more than about three days. Then again, we both love driving the motorhome. Sometimes we just take it out for an afternoon drive, with no plans to stop anywhere.

Don't forget the days leading up to the trip as well... I hate the days of unloading and the fact that the trip is done.

Sleeping on my own sheets, no suitcases in and out, arriving with known friends, ready to go at a minutes notice.

Love the journey first. Then the destination. The neat things & places we find on the way round it out nicely.
