It looks good from the front but...
This Winnebago came up at CoPart yesterday. Appears to be a brand new unit with a refrigerator fire. A total loss. Might be able to salvage the engine and transmission.

What a shame! The engine is worth about what the current bid is alone. I wouldn't mind have the front seats out of it.

Apparently the reserve is $11,500 =buy it now. A rebuilder should be able to restore it, but it would carry a rebuilt title, which greatly reduces its value, and makes obtaining insurance difficult.

I don't think there's any way it can be restored, the roof is gone too.

Well, there's restored and then there's restored. It probably can't economically be returned to it's original condition, but you could probably make it functional if not aesthetically appealing.

Once a fire in a coach, you will never get the smell out no matter how much is done. Ozone generators can remove the smell for awhile but it will return

It is restorable. Would be a fair amount of work. I would estimate 4 months and $20K or so. Stripping the bad, cleaning, then rebuilding the structure, rewiring, new roof, new fridge, carpet, propane lines, ducting, trim, wallpaper, ceiling fabric. Yup...would be a fair amount of work. but doable. Not worth it because it's only worth $100K pristine.
More depends on how much the time is valued at.
quick look, looks like it was sold. Probably to scrap out. Don't forget there are auction fees, storage, transportation costs.

Me too.
Salvaged front caps are highly in demand as reflected in the price. I'm not sure of the figure yet but I was told the insurance company will be paying north of $10k for the front cap for my coach which was very hard to find.
Progressive was very reluctant to pay the body shop for ~200 hours of labor to rebuild my front cap. Salvaged parts could mean the difference between repaired or totalled.

I could restore it, but only if I had large high-ceiling building with living quarters, and I was younger.
IOW, IMO you should revisit Plan B
