Itasca Latitude 39w -- Slideouts and leveling

I am new to this -- our first trip. I cannot get the leveling jacks to descend. Makes noise -- but nothing happens. And, I cannot get the slides to open. Any help/insight is welcome. What am I doing wrong?

Make sure your parking break is on and your engine is running.

Your best bet is to visit the Winn. Ind web site and download the owners manual for your coach. If you have one in your coach now, you should look up the process and follow the instructions often unique for your coach. You will need it to understand all the systems on your coach and following the correct process, should eliminate damaging any of your systems. Good luck with the new coach and get your nose into the manual!

There is a chassis forum here on iRV2.com for Workhorse owners and there is a fairly active group that should be able to help you HERE: https://www.facebook.com/groups/490524731339342

Hi,

Winnebago support are very helpful also.
I have the same coach but the Jacks were replaced by the place I bought it from.

For the slides there is a lock with a key you need to.engage on the one panel. It's near where the HVAC controls are.

Welcome to the forum.

Out of curiosity, are you on a UFO or FCCC? Weren't Lattitudes and Destinations built on both? No matter, the slides and jacks are a Winnebago installation and not something the chassis maker installed. I believe both had HWH for the hydraulics to operate the leveling system and slides ...others can correct this if I'm wrong.

There are a lot of HWH experts here so hopefully somebody --including azpete (Paul) who works for HWH-- can help diagnose your problem.

Otherwise, I would think Winnebago would be the first place to call, if nobody here can help, ahead of HWH as there may be a procedure you're missing, etc.
