Mark that's a really good idea! Maybe even drive up to coachmen and have them do it? Do they do warranty work like that or do they leave it strictly to the dealer network?

I'll go a step further than staying on the dealer's lot a night or two or even a nearby campground. Instead, I recommend you plan a short trip - one week - around the dealer. Drive that motorhome; use every single appliance; open the awnings; not only do hookups but also use the water pump/fresh water tank and dump the tanks; use the dump cleanout, use the levelers, etc. Then you can do your circle and take it back to the dealer for help/repairs, if needed. Definitely don't leave the area right away. Enjoy!

Wondering if you have ever driven one of these before. If not, it might behoove you to ask the dealer if they have a driver trainer, or at least someone who can show you how to maneuver that rig. I have seen too many folks out there who have no idea what they're doing and think they can just drive it off the lot like a car.
I drove school bus for a number of years and was a trainer and have worked with a couple of dealers doing that. Had one old couple that walked into a dealer and bought a 43' coach and had never even been in one before and said he could drive one as he had a big Cadillac and that was pretty much the same. Took me about a week before he actually said he felt comfortable with the MH. How ever, his little 5' wife was able to pick up most of the tricks about turning corners and backing up in two trips out. She was amazing and even impressed her old man.
