Jacks down Buzzer

How do you stop the 'Jacks Down buzzer' from buzzing when you are waiting for slides to open or retracting,on a Winnebago with Power Gear Jacks.

I've never had that warning regarding the jacks and my system is Power Gear too. Are you sure it's the jacks warning? I have to listen to my low air pressure warning whenever deploying my jacks because I've dumped the air. But I'm aired up when retracting the jacks thus no warning. Could be a low fluid condition for the jacks also.

Don't know how your system works, but I accidentally found that rather than run Jack's with ignition on, if I put key st aux, the buzzers all turned off...

There’s a fuse, 5amp I think. If you pull it best to replace prior to heading out in the road.

I added a toggle switch to the jacks down alarm. That way I can turn it on and off when needed. I got tired of listening to that thing, it's really loud. But don't forget to turn it back on when done.

I installed a switch for the jacks and the low air alarm. If I do some work with switch on and low air alarm or jacks down sounds, and/or start motorhome while jacks go up and alarm is on I just switch it off. As soon as I am done I put one or both switches back on.

Hi ! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I can't comment on that since our rig is air leveling only. Noticed you are kinda new on IRV2 and wanted to say hello! Have fun and keep her between the ditches!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Yes it makes some noise. I thought about disconnecting the buzzer but you know it doesn't take that long to deploy the slides and we have three. I decided to go with the buzzer, keeps me informed and I never miss that step
