As I have mentioned previously, the journey is of equal importance as the destination. Think about life's journey and your final destination. One really sets the stage for the other.

Renting has advantages, that's all we do. But again, the disadvantages have already been stated and need to be considered. In second guessing the rental, it's always been the breakdown concern which weights most heavily on my mind.

There are plenty of times where the journey to get to the destination has absolutely sucked for me. It is great when the journey is nice and it adds to the experience, but I am willing to endure some not so pleasant journeys for the reward at the end.

For me, the destination is the most important and I know the journey may be challenging and I am OK with that.

The destination is a long way away and no time frame to get there. See as much as possible on the way. In the last 9 years we’ve traveled the country, corner to corner and zig zag across the center. Toad is a must as the mh just just doesn’t fit in many places.

Totally agree with this. Driving the MH takes a great deal of focus especially on those beautiful winding mountain roads. The driver doesn’t often get the chance to enjoy the journey while driving. We take our time, make many stops along the way, explore the area in our toad, enjoy our MH, move on to the next adventure.
