King mattress in Thor Axis 24.1

Has anybody replaced the two twin bed cushions with an actual quality king mattress in the Thor Axis / Vegas 24.1?

You would have to come up with a lift system to still be able to access the water and storage. We just added a 3 in king mattress topper that we can fold back along with the sleep bag to still have easy access to everything.

That sounds like a good plan. Can you feel the joints between the pads under the mattress topper? Is the bed comfortable? Are you happy with your purchase of the 24.1? Thanks for your response.

That was the reason we got the topper, because I kept winding up in the crack It solved the issue and makes sleeping very comfortable. And yes, we love our 24.1. This is the 4th RV we've owned through the years. It's perfect for traveling and camping for the two of us and the dog while still having room for our boys when they come home on leave.

Glad to hear you are happy with it. We are considering purchasing a 24.1, but we were concerned about the bed situation. We really like the size since it will fit in our driveway.
