Kumho Tires - Good price

I purchased six (6) KRS03 275-70R22.5 tires from Walmart today for $134.00 each. The installation is scheduled for June 08, 2023, at a price of $27.00 for each tire. I hope this all works out for me. Sometimes you get what you pay

Walmart website shows them marked down from $421.00 to $134.00 when ordered online and install of $17.00. WOW, what a price!!!
Are you going to put balance beads in all 6? I did, and I'm very pleased with the results. Mine rides like glass.
Is this at the Rifle store?

Hope those tires are H load rated and not G. Otherwise you may have a weight problem on the front axle.

Just did a quick search of that tire and the specs show it is "H". Simply insane price, though. Every one (EVERY ONE!) of the other stores has it for $350 up to $500; WM has it for $422, marked down to $134.38! That has to be a mistake on someone's part but good for the OP, if he can get them installed before someone says "OOPS"!

I ordered 6 as well.
Saw the ad yesterday. Went and talked to my tire guy. He said Kumho were a mid range tire. He couldn't get any.
He also said WMart literally buys a boat load. They could be old. It will be interesting to see date code.

Date code concerned me as well, but it stated 90 day free return so I figured it was worth a chance. Also finding a shop to do the install may be problematic, don't think my local Walmart will do truck tires.

The date code will be the FIRST thing I look at BEFORE taking delivery from the Walmart Store.

Yes, I have decided to do a test run with Magnum+ tire balancing beads. 10.5 oz MTO300 per tire also from Walmart.

And the usual replacement of all valve stems and extensions.

Walmart installing MH tires?
Our Walmarts don’t have the capability I would double check.

Yes, good idea to confirm to make sure.

However, some Walmarts do have both the capability and personnel to install commercial truck tires and motorhome tires from what I've heard.

I have scirblings in my notes that seem to say that the tire center at the supercenter in Forsyth Georgia (HERE) installs Class A tires but I'm not absolutely certain of what my notes are exactly saying and I'm not sure if my scriblings actually are confirmed instances of that Walmart auto center actually doing installation of motorhome tires or not.

OP: Sounds almost too good to be true but keeping my fingers crossed that it works out for you ...and everybody else.

Kumho, btw, is an excellent tire. Not as big a company as Hankook but is also a very well-respected South Korean tire manufacturer.

Get back to us on how it goes if you can.
