CRC is nice to lube contacts but to chemically neutralize the stuff then coat and lubricate the joint use Deoxit.

Took the step gear and motor off, cleaned the brushes and put it all back together and it works! Thank for the advice.

Best to get the motor out or look closely from underneath and get the numbers off of it. Then you get the right one. I removed mine and went to a local Ma and Pa RV place and they compared it with diagrams and got me the right one.
