Kwikee steps on 2012 open road

Need help in identifying cause of kwikee step on a 2012 35 QBA open road. I replaced the motor a few months ago and the rig has been in storage for the last two months. Today the step will not open. I have tried pulling, tapping motor, lubing all pivot points. Checked fuse inside by the bathroom floor. There is another fuse panel in the basement behind the driver side, but they are label for mirror, seats, shade, everything but door step. Any suggestion would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Ray

First off, Welcome to IRV2!
Are your house batteries up to full power? The steps will not operate if the batteries are low. Have you checked to see if there is power at the step? If there is power, then there is a test procedure in the manual for the steps outlining testing for power and function of the controller. Since you have changed the motor, you can probably eliminate that, but there is still the possibility of a defective motor.

Hi Ray! Welcome to IRV2! We're sure glad you joined the gang!

I would use a voltmeter and check the voltage at the step motor!

Good luck, happy trails, and God bless!

Thanks to all for your help

After trying all the different suggestions and possible cause, I place a charger overnight and glad to inform that the steps are functioning.
Thanks again for all your advice.
