Ladder help.....question
I bought this telescopic ladder from Amazon (see link below).
My question is how to cover, wrap, or otherwise change/fix the top of the ladder to protect the coach and not scratch it up, when using the ladder.
I know there are some inventive/creative folks in this group!

Your most practical solution to avoiding scratches with that type of ladder, is to wrap the top rung and side posts with a scrap of carpet and duct tape it in place. Just remove it when done.

We covered the top rung w foam pipe insulation. "Permanently" affixed.

Pool noodles can be very versatile and you may a good application with them on the ladder.

I have a Hausse brand ladder, like the op's with one difference.....when collapsed, mine has a space between the rungs so no finger pinching.....

I use pool noodles. I have two cut that fit on the sides between the steps. And one that fits all the way across the top rung. I store it with the top one on, and put the two side pieces on as I raise the ladder. These two are the ones that REALLY do all the work protecting the coach. The top one on mine doesn't touch the coach, but I like it there just in case I tip the ladder wrong someday and the top comes in contact with the coach.

I have a ladder like that. I use a large pool noodle from WM, cut off 2 pieces to fit between two rungs, split them lengthwise and secure them with plastic zip ties.

Rather than modify the ladder, I glued a black 15" x 8" (1/16" thick) piece of rubber to the top of the RV on the location that I always put the ladder. The rubber wraps up around the rear cap bend to join the roof. Then any ladder I need to use has a safe place to sit and it helps keep the ladder from sliding up there, too.

My RV is dark gray in this area so the black fits in well and isn't obvious at all.

I bought a telescoping ladder and store it with two foot long pool noodles. The first time you use it, take a Sharpie and mark where the noodles need to be placed so yo don't have to extend and retract to install them.

I throw a throw rug over the top rung, it hangs down enough to protect the MH paint.

I have a draw string on the top section, drape a towel over the top then lash the draw string, hangs down low enough that I can extend above roof for easier egress and still protect the paint.

I'm currently window shopping (on-line) for a telescopic ladder and would appreciate your input. Are you happy with the Ohuhu ladder you purchased? Are there anything you don't like about it?

I purchased this one last month. I really like this one in that once it is completely extended, you press the two bottom buttons and the entire thing collapses one rung at a time. Very safe, no pinched fingers. They have a couple of good videos on the page showing the operation.

I LOVE the idea of pool noodles to protect the coach. The minute I extended this thing, the question of how to protect the paint was asked. Now, I have an answer! Thanks to those that answered this.
