Laminate flooring installation

Am in the process of installing laminate flooring in my Winnebago galley and living area. Have read a great many posts about this project but have not found one that directly addressed the proper/best way to trim out the joint where main rv floor and the slide out meet when extended. I have a level floor slide and am not sure where to stop and start the two flooring sections or how to trim them without causing interference when retracting the slide.

Here is a thread on your flooring.
Here is another.
And last but not least another.
There are trim pieces to place on flooring edge wood or flat metal that your slide can raise over.
Some slide control units have a pot to increase power to motor for a slit raise.
