We purchased our two thousand and one American tradition from Orlando RV. I had thought I was being played when they ask for a 500 deposit right away as they claim coaches come and go really fast. That was until the coach that I wanted was sold the night before I went to look at it which was two days later. However having arrived to look at my original selection and one American Tradition came in to be traded on a new coach. Talk about being at the right place at the right time. We've been to lazy days as well as La Mesa RV and couldn't decide on any coach at either dealer. I would highly recommend looking at what Orlando RV has for sale before you purchase. Sales team was great their service department great and we spent about 2 hours going over the coach for orientation.

Lazy Days hands down. I've spent many hours reading negative reviews directed towards NT. They hold somewhat of a monopoly on Newmar products and base their sales and service in that direction. The vast majority of reviews regarding LD are very positive. They sell and handle service on most manufacturers products except Newmar. I for one hope one day they will handle Newmar. IMO the dealer and their service reputation are worth a few percentage points on the bottom line deal.

That is not good news about NT. We will be going to the Tampa RV Supershow to look at the Newmar's. Will NT be the only company allowed to have Newmar's there?

The only other dealer that will possibly be there for Newmar would be Tampa RVone.
But I doubt it, two dealers competing with each other at show?????

Last year only NT was at the Newmar exhibit....
the "salesman" from NT that treated us badly the year before ,and the reason we won't go back, followed us like a shadow as we looked at the various coaches, glaring at us the entire time, without saying a word. When we found what we liked, we wrote down the specs and sent it out to the other Newmar dealers in FL to get prices on a new order. We ordered from the dealer with the best price and had our new coach in a bit less than 2 months.

At last years Tampa RV show, NT had the Newmar, Lazydays has Entegra, and Tampa RVone had the Jayco lines but advertized themselves as a Newmar dealer. I would expect it to remain the same.
So, why not talk to NT, walk over to the Tampa RVone display, or better yet, just drive a mile down the road to their new facility and check out what's in inventory.

Can't understand NT bashing. Bought our new to us (used) Dutch Star from them last Feb, and couldn't have been happier. The servicing dept needed some improvement, but they were in the middle of their new construction and things were very chaotic/crowded. At Super Show, we we hounded by a salesman even weeks later. Turns out he was on commission, and resented wasting time on us. He was hired by Lazy Days just for Super Show. Moral-every dealer can have a salesperson you just dont click with. Doesn't make dealer bad necessarily.

We will be staying at the Lazy Day's campground while at the RV show. I want either a new Canyon Star or a used DP of some type. I have a fixed budget and this is what I would get. When we first get there the day before the show I plan on making a visit to Lazy Day's to see what they have in used DP's. The reason I am not looking at another Tiffin Allegro Open Road is they have no 3 or 4 slides modes with a residential refrigerator and washer/dryer. I will most likely make a visit to RVOne.
May the deal when!!!!
