donhoward49 Senior Member National RV Owners Club Workhorse Chassis Owner Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: Portland, Oregon Posts: 872	Leak from awning mount Water is damaging an inside wall, I have caulked, taped and cussed. The repair shop pointed out several places. Most I can do, but the power awning mount to the coach is riveted on. I could see removing a screw and caulking but I have never replaced a rivet.. Also to get to the rivets the awning must be extended, I think the lower rivet could be removed safely, but the top rivet would have weight on it?? How do I support this? Can a rivet be drilled out and replaced with a screw?? suggestions appreciated,, Don __________________ 2004 National Sea Breeze LX8375, Towing a 2012 Liberty.
