When you replaced the chassis batteries did you hook them up backwards?

We full time. In our MH we don't mind rush hour crawls as much as when we had our tow-behind -> after all, you're just sitting at home... (there has to be a silver lining, doesn't there?)

A small town called Micanopy. It's about 10 miles south of Gainesville. Had a good time.

We made it back to Michigan. No issues other than the truck traffic. Just in time to clean up the neighbors leaves that find their way into our yard.
81 degrees to 35 degrees in 2 days is a shock to the body.

No. All wires are color coded, Red for positive and Black for ground.

Congrats on salvaging the trip and making it back safe and sound! Well done.
I'm looking up possible spots for us next year.
Did you stay at the Paynes Prarie State Park. It sounds pretty nice.

Paynes Prarie is nice but we stay at a family members farm a little west of Micanopy. On the east side of Paynes Prarie, there are wild horses and buffalo and many gators.
