I installed these LED fluorescent replacements a few months ago and have been very pleased:
Ming Natural White 12" 300L RV LED Tube for Fluorescent Lights The Ming bulbs are slightly cheaper than the better know Revolution ones and the dealer says customers appear to be equally satisfied. Using 2-300 lumen bulbs provides a little more light than did the fluorescent tubes.
I did not install these to save energy; the fixture's ballast had died and a new one was ~$30 plus shipping plus replacing the bulbs that had failed. I decided that in this case the slightly higher price of the LEDs was justified. However, I'm not going to replace the rest of my fluorescents until they fail. BTW, the 2 LED bulbs use 6.5W of power compared with the 16 watts previously.
