Rubber reroof job

Thanks for taking the time to post and describe your reroof job. Great pictures. I'm sure someone that has to do a roof RV job will benefit from your post.

I got a bunch of these G4 3528SMD 24LED lights off ebay. Only a couple of bucks a piece. Light output is about the same and a lot cooler.

If you don't mind me asking, who was the seller?

I installed these LED fluorescent replacements a few months ago and have been very pleased: Ming Natural White 12" 300L RV LED Tube for Fluorescent Lights The Ming bulbs are slightly cheaper than the better know Revolution ones and the dealer says customers appear to be equally satisfied. Using 2-300 lumen bulbs provides a little more light than did the fluorescent tubes.

I did not install these to save energy; the fixture's ballast had died and a new one was ~$30 plus shipping plus replacing the bulbs that had failed. I decided that in this case the slightly higher price of the LEDs was justified. However, I'm not going to replace the rest of my fluorescents until they fail. BTW, the 2 LED bulbs use 6.5W of power compared with the 16 watts previously.

I got them from several suppliers. This is the one that I got most of them from, G4-24-3528-SMD-LED. I got a few 'wrong' ones before I found what I wanted in size & light output.

Thanks Bob! Looks like just what the doctor ordered.
