Leece Neville 7613N 160amp Alternator

Replaced my alternator with a Leece Neville 7613N 160amp with Trans PO 14v 79000HD. House and chassis batteries both charging at 14.2 - 14.4 while traveling. After 2 plus hours volts are still the same. Just wondering if there is anything to be concerned about? Should I expect this voltage to drop as the batteries charge?

I'm curious as to what motor home / year & what engine do you have. I just had a problem 4/25/17 with battery voltage light on. Have not trouble shot batteries or alternator yet.

Thanks for the reply. I removed my alternator and after bench check, confirmed it was bad. Mine is a WPS (World Power System) 1-2334-00DR - 12V , 160 Amp. Got a new exchange thru Houston Alternators for $145.75 + tax w/ one day service.
Will install Monday 5/1/17.
