I ran michelins on my previous coach for ten years but switched to Toyos on my new to me coach. Drove it to Alaska and back to Oregon twice and Oregon to the east coast and back with no issues. I'm told they have much stronger sidewalls than the Michelins.

Last Friday I put 8 new Michelins on my rig 4 - 365/70's and 4 - 315/80's through the FMCA Advantage program. Could have save a couple hundred by going with TOYO on the drive axle as only Michelin makes the 365/70 tires used on the front and tag. But I've had such good service out of every Michelin I've ever had it just wasn't worth it to me.

Go to a different dealer that can give you new tires. If they give you tires over a year old, ask for a discount as 10 years is usually considered time to replace them. One year old, as for 10% off, 2 years is 20% less life. Vote with your $$

Agree with BigBillSD. I requested "new" tires and made the mistake of going home and pick up the coach later. When I arrived they told me the newest out of the warehouse they could get were a year old, and they were now installed. When I gave him "the look" and "are you kidding me", he reduced the price 20%. Next time I stay on site, not at home or in the waiting room. There seems to be a legitimate issue with the warehouse sending the tires out the door in sequence by date.

Hankook AH12-date code 9 months out but my tire is a 295/75R 22.5. They are made in China. I think they are a great tire.

Tires that came on my Motorhome were Michelin good service with no problems. At the beginning of the 7th year I replaced with Michelin, ride was rough, they tried balancing 3 times with not much improvement. About a month ago the right front blew out traveling down the interstate. I was told by the dealer it was from impact. I ask if he saw any other damage and his comment was it could have happened anytime. My tires are only three years old but when I replace in about three years I will shop around.

Hankook is a Korean made tire methinks. Definitely going to consider them next year when the time for tires folks around.

The 315/80's are dated 1616 and the 365/70's are 3716.

Regarding the post by Darwin... Good job driving the Motor Home!! Front tire blow out must have been anything but fun. Just curious which model Michellin and what tire pressure for your Coach?

I just had Sailuns installed on the rear of our Dutch Star. No complaints so far.
It has only been a few months but 3000 miles.
Also had Hankooks on my 65 Skylark for about 8 years and they were great.
Had 600 hp so they saw some abuse and speeds over 120 mph on the track.
