Minimums? My cover with partial sides is 50' x 12'. My coach is 40' with a slide on each side. I can walk around it with the slides out & can fully open generator, engine access panel, & basement doors, even those in the slide out.

Lets see your coach garage
I recommend 14’h x 16’w doors. Much easier to back in and out of. Will cost a little more but you’ll never regret it.

Sims5 I agree, I did the same except I think mine are 14 wide. If one has a bigger budget, an airplane hanger door is the best. I would have done that if I could. The whole front of the building is wide open, or a big portion of it is. A lot of big farmers are doing that around Midwest. Easy to move big things around.

Agree. A friend of mine that Farms has a 24’ wide door. Very nice but pricey. Their equipment just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I’m very happy with my two doors being 16’ wide.

No, I just wish I would've done the hanger 25 years ago...

18' will give you a couple feet on each side with the slides out. 8.5' + 3' + 2.5" = 14'. This is what my coach measures. Remember that most building dimensions are measured on the outside. My 48' x 26' RV port is actually less than 24' wide between the I-beams. Fortunately I realized this before ordering it and increased the width by 2'.

On my new shop/RV garage that is 50x60x16, I made the RV storage bay 20x50x16 with a single 14' tall by 16' wide door. Plenty of room to move around with slides out plus I have a few other items stored in there as well. I much prefer the 16' wide door to a 14' wide so if you can swing a 16' wide, I highly recommend it.

We were going to build a bigger door. But then the engineer started getting stinky about bracing and overbuilding because of the lack of lateral support.
We built 36 X 72 and had lots of room until the kids heard that I was a soft touch when it came to storing additional stuff. Should have built it somewhere else and not told them about it.
