Leveling jack leaking, rusted

My 2021 Jayco Alante 26x has only 2800 miles on it.
I had oil stains on the parking lot coming from one leveling jack.
Upon investigating I found rust on the pistons at the bottom and kreeping up. All 4 of them.
Are they made in USA or China?
I did send pictures to their support and there answer was: We need pictures, so I did send them again, and again. Then there was silence.

Definitely looks like chrome plated steel rams instead of stainless steel rams.

They are out of Michigan, but who knows where they source their components.

If you're still under warranty, I would be asking them to replace the jacks. That rust is ugly and is going to eat its way up that jack until it hits the seals and leaks.

If they do replace them with the same jacks, I would paint that lower section with POR and try to keep them from prematurely rusting again.

If its not covered by warrantee, remove the feet, sand and paint the rusty areas and then add spacers on the piston so the bad section can't go up inside the seals .

Years ago I was in the Florida Keys visiting a marina where my good friend had bought his new boat. I asked the manager why my friends boat cleats were starting to discolor and his answer was simply...." they're stain-Less, silly"

Maybe you ended up some of those stain-Less products too. LoL!

Leaking Jacks

I did it. Installed big washers preventing the piston from going to far into retract.
Ebay: https://www.ebay.com/itm/195579241215

Hardest part was the 1/2 inch Allen bolt to gest out. Needed to use impact wrench. To make room for the wrench I did dig a hole in the ground direct underneath the Jackplate.
