Yeah,
That happens a lot on here and other RV forums. OPs just drift away and forget that folks are trying to help, even though sometimes it becomes a presidential debate.

As for the WD40 tip, I thought I read somewhere that you should use silcone spray and not WD40.

Actually, HWH specifically recommends WD-40, and specifically says NO to silicone spray.

Interesting, here is what the Power Gear manual says:

4. If jacks are down for extended periods, it is recommended to spray exposed
leveling jack chrome rods with a silicone lubricant every 5 to 7 days for protection.

HWH and Power Gear are two different animals, from two different manufacturers. The WD-40 comments were made in regards to the HWH jacks. Power Gear may indeed recommend silicone; HWH does not.

When you say periodically do not work Won't extend or won't retract or both ?
On jacks power gear jacks. Are they spring return or hyd return. Doe panel beep or show fault when turned on ? If fluid level low or fluid level sensor bad. Jacks won't extend Can unplug and bypass sensor to check it. Panel should have fault lights for ign, jacks down, couple others I can't remember. Are any lit when turned on ?

On my power gear slides I had issue like this and after lots of frustration found slide switch itself to be issue. When pressed slightly would work but when depressed all way would brake contact, also just unplug and reconnect the controllers the contacts get corrosion Controller boards are also know for bad solder joints on control board. For power gear that is.
