Leveling Jacks wavering, slide-out stuck: Hydraulic issue?

Hi,
I have a 2004 Georgetown, and over the last few weeks, I noticed the leveling jacks don't seem to keep the rig level anymore. For one thing, we keep hearing cracking noises coming from under the rig, and after a couple of days, the rig is no longer level. Seems to tell me jacks aren't keeping the pressure. I checked the hydraulic pump, and there doesn't seem to be any leak in that area. There is no oil dripping from any of the jacks either.
Yesterday after coming back home for the summer, I couldn't get the bedroom slide-out to come out. The dinette slides out fine, but the bed won't.
My question is: could there be a oil level issue? How does one know if there is enough oil in the system, or how are those hydraulic systems troubleshot anyway?
Thanks eveyone,
Maurice

A lot depends on the brand of hydro system and knowing that will be a help. Usually there will be a reservoir near the pump and it will have a full line on it.

Identify the model levelers, and the model slide. Then get the books off the web.

Thanks for the information. I will take my rig to the repair shop soon, and I shall find out and port here. BTW, the oil level appears to be at the line that I assume is the fill line.

Have you identified the system?
