LG Combo washer vs Splendide vented

Has anyone had one of these 2.3 cu ft. LG combo washers. How do you like it vs. the vented Splendide? Mainly asking about reliability and operation. My old vented Splendide has died and I looking to replace it. Considering the options.

I wanted to do the same but LG is not vented and that makes it a no go in my book. I was thinking of modding it to vented but not sure how.

We really like our Splendide. (We have a large LG ventless unit at home that is really excellent.) When our Splendide dies, we will upgrade to the newer 2100 XC. It has newer controls and a brushless, direct drive motor.

We would recommend staying with the Splendide.

If you're used to a vented model, you might have a difficult time going to condensed drying (ventless). If you're constantly in the desert where you can hang things to dry in a few hours, maybe having a ventless would be acceptable.

Splendide actually has a pretty good reliability rating. We've had vented Splendides in two RVs and neither of them gave us any problems even under heavy use. LGs are reliable and popular and if they made a vented model, we would consider it.

Pertaining to modifying an LG ventless to be vented, there must be a way as I do have this YouTube video from earlier this year bookmarked but the clip itself does not give any instructions ...just a statement to contact him.
