Living Room Speakers Not Working

Hello,

I own a 2020 FR3 DS30 MH. My challenge today is the living room speakers aren't producing sound when using the Pionerr audio system. They have worked previously. The Living Room sound rocker switch is pressed to the correct position. The front cockpit and outside speakers work fine.

I have reached under the control dash area and checked all connection, they are tight.

Could the rocker switch have gone bad?

Thanks for any advise.

Often, speakers that are not associated with the cockpit area are set up on the radio as the "rear" speakers. You need to check the "FADE" setting to see if it's only set for the front speakers.

On some other models, those speakers are associated with a bedroom switch to turn them on and off while in bed.

I have checked all Pioneer system settings and they are setup as designed.

Mine is a known problem. There is a 3-position sound switch, #1 is TV sound, #2 is off, #3 is radio sound. Someone put all the speaker wires on the TV terminals, now the front speakers do not work after sitting last year.
It's gonna be a tedious job identifying all the speaker wires, 14 in all. Then correctly attaching them to the correct terminals-if they even work on the radio terminals.

I replaced the rocker switch and that didn't fix the sound issue. I've tested the ceiling speakers and they work fine - I connected each of them to the cockpit speaker wires.

I've spoken to the Pioneer Tech Support team and all the radio settings are corrected, I even updated the firmware version. I'm about to breakdown and fork out labor money at a audio repair center. Any other ideas to try? Nothing has happened with moving wires around or other RV interior modifications to impact the speaker wires.

I found my problem, that 3-position switch. I removed it from the dash, sprayed the backside terminals and the contacts with plastic-proof contact cleaner. Then it immediately began working again.
I assume the connections had corroded just enough to prevent low-voltage from passing through the connections.
